SEASONS 3-4
Brace for Impact

A big blue meteor appears in the sky. As it approaches, the people of the Island begin to worry over where it will land. Citizens of Tilted Towers draw signs predicting disaster.

The meteor breaks into several pieces leading up to its big crash in Dusty Depot — now Dusty Divot — with its other pieces landing elsewhere, including Tilted Towers. Small shards of the meteor are infused with anti-gravity and become Hop Rocks.

Not long after its touchdown, a facility for analysis is built to hide the meteor from public eyes, built by those who watch the Island from beneath — in the shadows. Since the beginning, their presence had been teased by a locked metal bunker in the Wailing Woods.

Eventually, the meteor cracks open and reveals a life support pod, from which awakens The Visitor.

Meanwhile, a movie is being filmed by the Island’s inhabitants, featuring a battle of good & evil that’s nothing more than costumes and props.

The Visitor tears the facility surrounding him apart and steals a prop rocket from the movie’s set, using Hop Rocks to augment its hollow hull into a proper spaceship for his escape. As he blasts off into the stars, the Visitor leaves behind a crack in the sky — ending his visit.

SEASON 5
WORLDS COLLIDE

The rift in the sky plunged the Island into chaos, throwing some of its beloved landmarks into lands beyond. Those watching the Island from beneath send Enforcers to restore balance by bringing these objects back. With them, chunks of land seep through by accident, making worlds collide — including sand, vikings, and golf — and later, so does evil, but with purpose.

However, during that chaos, a street artist was brought from his desert with the return of the Island’s Durr Burger — Drift. He goes on a road trip as he discovers the Island and the many people who were pulled into it from their worlds before him.

Drift explores the Island with Brite Bomber and earns a mask that gives him ancient power to protect her and his friends.

With every second of the crew’s road trip, the rift above begins to shrink; until darkness sees the opportunity. Lightning strikes from the rift and forces it to collapse, forming a Cube that runs on dark magic.

It rolls around and inscribes six runes onto the Island’s surface to drain it of its energy. Anyone that gazes into the Cube is offered power — a twisted version of themselves with no flaw but the eternal allegiance to darkness.

As it reaches Loot Lake, the Cube can sense immense energy underneath it. From solid to liquid, the Cube melts inside the Lake and opens the secrets beneath that we were yet to see — the power that the Island was made by and protects. The Cube seals the water above into a bouncing surface, the same way it blasted anyone but the bravest that were near it and begins to fulfill its true purpose.

SEASON 6
DARKNESS RISES

The Cube rises from Loot Lake, overflowing with the immense power that it’s absorbed. It continues rising, tearing anything near it apart into a floating island, leaving behind a whirlwind in the center of the Lake — one that protects a powerful light below.

Meanwhile, deep in the Wailing Woods, those who contained the meteor for analysis keep dwelling under the Island. They attempt to recreate the Visitor’s tear in time by making tunnels, connected to each other via portals. However, these portals are unable to travel between realities — so they are unable to recreate their enemy’s technology, for now.

While the Cube tries to overtake the Island, its true plan is revealed: to conquer the Island with the fiends it was spawning and open a portal for more to come. Even while completely overcharged, it calls back the runes it had left on the ground to absorb their power for its purpose.

After we fight back against the hordes, with the likes of Calamity and Deadfire, the powerful light from the Lake overcomes the Cube’s darkness; making it explode.

A butterfly brings everyone on the Island to the In-Between — the exposed circuitry of existence — to protect us from the Cube’s meltdown.

As our guardian, the butterfly then sends us back to the Island to reveal that the fragments of the Cube and its floating island had covered the opening, protecting the Island’s secrets once again.

SEASON 7
A COLD AWAKENING

After the battle against darkness, the Island was thought to be safe. The Ice King had found our reality in a hidden pocket of space and brought to it a collection of great danger to hide, frozen for eternity.

However, the Cube’s explosion takes a piece from it — an iceberg that ends up landing on the Island’s sea — containing the Ice King’s castle, his arctic team led by Sgt. Winter, and the next big threat to peace.

One of the Ice King’s knights, the one of fire, once betrayed their oath; to collect the dangers of all existence to keep them from falling into the wrong hands. He forced the Ice King’s hand in battle, suggesting that they use the collected weapons as gods, but he was defeated.

The Ice King then froze the entire collection of dangers, now an Ice Moon, with the traitor as its newest item: The Prisoner.

Now, to prevent the iceberg from melting and endangering us, the Ice King unleashes a storm to freeze the entire Island.

While trying to preserve the Island for the Ice King, his Ice Legion of fiends attack us, instead; and we fight back just as we fought back against the Cube, except that the Ice King’s cause was good — something we couldn’t have known. The battle weakens his icy grip on the Island, but a King is not one to give up.

Piece by piece, the iceberg melts and the Prisoner escapes from the castle. The Ice King had dragon eggs incubating in his dungeons, eggs that the Prisoner stole to raise as his army of Hybrids. Having rekindled his strength from the Island’s many campfires, the Prisoner prepares the landscape to create his volcano.

SEASON 8
X MARKS THE SPOT

As the Prisoner prepares to search for buried treasure, he sends his Hybrids to steal from the Master Key — a guardian entrusted by the Ice King to lock the last of the Prisoner’s chains. The Hybrids unlock their master’s flame just as the pirate Blackheart arrives, also looking for loot.

Distracted by gold, the Prisoner is then defeated by the Ice King in a battle between their armies of Ice Fiends and Hybrids. The Ice King freezes the traitor permanently under the Island’s ocean and returns to his hibernation up on the Ice Moon above — to keep its dangers in place.

Meanwhile, the Island’s agents from beneath were digging not for treasure, but to relieve its surface from the pressures of the new volcano.

Suddenly, they find a surface of woven metal in their excavation by the edge of Loot Lake. They knew something was below the Lake after the Cube had opened its center and emerged with great power. By digging further, they uncover a breakthrough: an enormous underground Vault.

Five keys emerge from around the locked Vault to test us for our abilities: collecting materials, collaborating with one another, battling and dancing. These abilities are part of systems created by the observers of the Island who study how we act within them safely from below — yet they had no idea that the Vault even existed.

Mysterious broadcasts from the Vault reveal weapons thought to be lost — vaulted away from the Island’s chaos — offered only to those who may enter. After we solve them, the Vault’s keys return to their source and cause earthquakes that awaken the volcano.

THE UNVAULTING

The Vault opens. Revealed to be a gateway to where we had once been sent to by the butterfly, the Vault leads to a hidden pocket at the center of the In-Between — its ground, made of radiant blocks of light woven together, and an eternal kaleidoscope sky — all meant to contain what the Vault was built for…

The Zero Point. A cosmic orb with the fire of creation, and the power that had led the Cube to the Island all along.

In front of the Zero Point is a desk with a helmet and a corridor of crystallized weapons, all vaulted away from being used by us. We band together to break one of the weapons free and return to the Island as the Vault locks itself.

The volcano erupts and destroys the Island’s biggest cities, leaving a crack on the iceberg, and someone rises out of the Vault alongside us: our future savior, to whom that helmet belongs.

SEASON 9
THE FUTURE IS YOURS

The Vault’s guardian, Singularity, leaves her post with plans for the future ahead. She turns the wreckage of Tilted Towers and Retail Row into the utopia Neo Tilted, with its own Singularity statue, and Mega Mall. Both are powered by the Zero Point as the Island’s secrets begin to be uncovered.

Although Singularity shows that she cares by helping us rebuild, she also connects us to the dangers of the Island, even though she was a secret to everyone on it: we who fight, and they who control.

Singularity works with the Island’s observers, yet she hid the Vault from them. The Zero Point had to be safe, away from the Island’s chaos. When they would lose control of the Island, Singularity vaulted overpowered weapons to help them. However, the Vault won't be safe for long if the Iceberg's final threat melts free.

Meanwhile, Jonesy locked himself in a bunker with his best friend Peely. They both agreed to blend the banana into a smoothie so Jonesy could survive — a sentient smoothie that gave him visions of the future. Bunker Jonesy was then taken as a prisoner under the Island for observation, where he scribbled on the walls with pink paint trying to warn them of a future battle.

Some of the volcano’s lava hit the iceberg and began to thaw its final threat. An enormous eye is revealed, one that belongs to the gigantic Devourer. He escapes the ice and dives into the Island’s ocean, with the Ice King’s castle atop his head, as he swims and circles his prey: the Zero Point.

Singularity calls for an old ally to help save the Island, her organization's long-time enemy: The Paradigm. Together, they convince them that the monster could pose a threat to their control of the Zero Point — as he consumes energy, and he is starving. They begin construction of a Mecha on the remnants of the emptied volcano, now turned into a Pressure Plant.

THE FINAL SHOWDOWN

The Mecha Team Leader, now decorated with the Island's legends, is equipped with a barrage of missiles and Paradigm as the pilot. Singularity and she have special abilities with technology, making them the only ones able to build and control such a machine.

The Devourer washes up on shore, heading towards and then smashing the Vault, but is met by Paradigm in the Mecha. He shoots an energy beam to burn the Mecha’s chest and tears off its arm, spending all of the Mecha’s ammunition and nearly destroying her for good — until Paradigm rips the Zero Point from the Vault, before the Devourer can.

Briefly grasping the Zero Point for power, Paradigm uppercuts the beast, and for the final blow: Singularity’s statue on Neo Tilted is revealed to have been the hilt of a giant sword all along, one that Paradigm uses to end the monster for good — leaving behind only its skeleton.

The Island is safe, but the Paradigm isn’t so sure. She salutes us and flies off into space to check for other threats on the iceberg’s origin: The Ice Moon. She sacrificed herself to defend the Island while working with her enemy.

An unstable Zero Point now floats above the open Vault, pulsating, with its outer shell cracked. Singularity will remain the first and the last to have kept the Zero Point in harmony. The Devourer’s skeleton shows the first effects of this disaster as it decomposes faster and faster with time.

SEASON X
OUT OF TIME

The Zero Point has exploded. Chapter 1’s finale takes place in a single moment to save the Island while revealing more of its past. We are out of time.

Due to time’s instability, Dusty Depot has returned intact just before impact by a meteor that’s now frozen in the sky. Back in Season 4, the Visitor woke up from his meteor’s pod only after some time in a laboratory — but now, it’s already opened, and The Scientist has arrived instead. Travelling worlds in meteors is a trait of their team.

The Scientist turns one of the Depot’s warehouses into his workshop, where he leaves tapes to document his mission to save the Island. In them, the Scientist reveals that he’s part of The Seven, a team of space knights from across realities on a mission for freedom, including Visitor and Paradigm.

In an unlikely alliance, the Scientist was given intel by the Island’s observers — whom are centuries-old rivals of the Seven — that the Zero Point could be saved and the fallout of its explosion stopped.

Meanwhile, they've already evacuated. The Island’s controllers have deployed BRUTEs — two-pilot mechas with missiles and more — meant to be used by any agents left to control the chaos on the Island.

The Scientist scavenged BRUTEs to build his bulky suit out of precaution, even though he already had one to keep him out of the Loop, as all the Seven have. He then uploaded a virus to destroy every other BRUTE.

The agents of the Island told the Scientist that by escaping the Loop, time would return to just before the blast and freeze the Zero Point in place with its own power.

After doing so by himself, the Scientist needs to reunite with the Seven for his plan — or those that remain. After flying to the Ice Moon, Paradigm was lost in its storms and assumed to be dead.

With fragments of the exploded Zero Point, the Scientist creates rift beacons to bring the other five of the Seven from wherever they were at the moment of the blast. The unstable Zero Point also brings pieces of the past, including the Cube before its defeat.

As part of his tapes, the Scientist reveals that we’ve been trapped all along inside The Loop, every match of Battle Royale. A prison made by the Island’s controllers to study and catalog every person that fights within it, all while they’re safe under the Island, to then use that information for their higher purpose.

The Seven reluctantly agree to work with them, even though their primary goal is to free everyone trapped in these battles. Most of the Loop’s effects are a result of the Zero Point’s natural defenses, which include rewinding time after a Loop — a match of Battle Royale — ends.

THE END

The Seven’s mission is to use the frozen meteor in the sky to stabilize the Zero Point by force. A large mass equal to the blast would negate any damage done and create a new beginning. By flying with their signature rockets to create a vacuum, the Seven bring the meteor into a gigantic rift.

A remotely controlled rocket, in place of Paradigm, rifts out of the sky and dives straight into the Zero Point; to bring it back to time.

All six rockets, piloted by six of the Seven, circle the meteor as it falls from the rift in the sky — onto the Zero Point. The Seven create rifts for their escape just before it hits. Time is ticking again, and so is the heartbeat of a new world.

The Island collapses into a Black Hole, and things will never be the same.
